Andy Pettitte was placed on the 15-day DL on Jul 19th with a strained left groin. Sixty-two days later, Andy is about to take the hill again.
Pettitte was having a phenomenal year before he went on the disabled list, compiling an 11-2 record with a 2.88ERA. We may have been looking at another Yankees starter gunning for that 20th win, but the injury really knocked him out for a big chunk of the season. Let’s all hope he regains his form from earlier this year, and is raring to go come October.

Andrew Eugene is back! Am I the only one excited for his return. It’s going to be grand!
