Here are some of the latest demolition photos of Yankee Stadium. The demolition is really starting to heat up now, as they are taking down the upper deck in left field. Photo credit goes out to WCBS880’s Tom Kaminski and Gary Dunaier. I can’t believe it’s already been over a year since the demolition first started and there is still a lot left to do.

Here are some of the latest demolition photos of Yankee Stadium. I want to thank Gary Dunaier from flickr for these photos. Isn’t it funny that when you look at the first photo, it looks like no demolition was actually done to the stadium besides the letter removal. It just shows how slow this demolition process is going.

I haven’t done this in a while. Here are some of the latest demolition photos of Yankee Stadium. The removal of the “YANKEE STADIUM” letters has been completed, and it seems like almost the entire lower level of seats have been ripped out. It’s been gutted of its seating and desirable collectibles, and now the real work begins. Photos courtesy of: edogisgod (Flickr) & WCBS 880’s Tom Kaminski

Looks like the facade in the outfield has been completely removed. The most unique symbol of the stadium is now gone. This demolition process is taking too long. Is it me or was Shea Stadium torn down in a heartbeat? I know they want to save a lot of the pieces of the old stadium, but it seems like it’s taking forever. I want to thank demolitionofyankeestadium.com for supplying me with these photos. Photo credit goes to Gary Dunaier.
