Brian Cashman played College BaseballThere are a lot of you out there who like to criticize Brian Cashman moves, and rightfully so. He hasn’t been perfect. He’s made both good moves and bad moves. A lot of people also seem to think that these general managers know nothing about the game, which is downright idiotic. Cashman was a four-year starter and leadoff hitter at Catholic University. You guys can sit at home and poke fun of these guys all you want, but I bet most of you didn’t play ball at the college level. Of course Cashman has advisors and scouts feeding him information, but who doesn’t? These guys wouldn’t be where they are if they knew nothing about the game. (more…)
