I am, frankly, at a loss regarding Girardi’s coaching the last month or so, taking into account injuries, bad performances from certain players, situational plays, bad luck, strength of opponents, etc….
Hughes pitched, relatively well, but I would never have allowed him to pitch to Johnson, again….wasn’t Logan available or even Joba???
The only silver lining here is that it seems we have hit bottom, so hopefully we can get out of our funk and start winning close, high stake games.
We need 2 of 3 in Baltimore and the same vs. Rays on Monday-Wed.
Who says once you hit bottom you immediately start climbing back up? This crew has no heart, they’re a bunch of bums. When A-Rod struck out to end the game he just casually walked back to the dugout, no emotion, nothing.
I’m glad they’re all happy with their one ring. Yogi, Mickey, JoeD and Whitey are shaking their heads at this group. Bums. BUMS!!!!
