- Girardi, who will be managing the AL in the 81st All-Star Game next week, is still pondering his starter for the game. But in a conference call Thursday, he said he’s fond of Rays ace David Price’s performance this year. “Price is leading the American League in wins, he’s second in ERA,” Girardi said. “He’s had a fabulous first half. We’ll look at that as we get closer to Sunday.”
The game will take place at Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington. It’s slated to start at 10:10PM ET. The game is being televised on the YES Network. The game can also be heard on the radio on WCBS 880. Enjoy the game. Go Yankees!
