According to Marla Diamond of WCBS 880, the Heritage Field groundbreaking took place at the end of last month (June 29th). It looks like an empty field of dirt right now, but come 2011, it will feature three championship grass baseball fields. These kids will have a chance to play at the same site where some of the greatest athletes of all-time used to play.
