The New Yorker’s own, Christopher Weyant, released a daily cartoon a couple of days ago (the day after the tragic Boston Marathon bombings), and I thought I would share it with you guys. I found the cartoon to be very charming, showing that when something like this happens, we put our petty differences and fan allegiances aside. The tragic events that occured in Boston transcend sports, and it was just really cool to see the outpouring of love from New York. #BostonStrong

It’s just amazing how these stories come about. One can simply release a doctored photo of the Yankees captain to the media and everybody eats it up. Did anyone actually believe that “The Derek Jeter” would lose himself like that? If there is one guy in this league who you can count on to act in a professional way, he would be the one. If you really believed that photo was real, I wouldn’t be placing any bets anytime soon. But if you knew from the get-go, I would go hop on over to The Sports Geek.
